UKEChairs serves as the advocacy and activism arm of UKEC. We strive to create a better Malaysian community by ensuring continuous engagement with student societies through our initiatives, which range from conducting case studies and surveys to more proactive and larger scale events such as organising forums and town hall sessions.

For the 2026/2027 tenure, UKECares will focus on creating meaningful opportunities for Malaysian students to engage in community service, charitable giving, and wellbeing-centred initiatives. Through a combination of flagship programmes and regional collaborations, the office aims to cultivate a culture of empathy, volunteerism, and active citizenship while supporting the holistic wellbeing of students.

UKECatalyst is UKEC's intellectual and non-partisan discourse arm. The office works to build a community of Malaysian students who can hold informed discussions and contribute to national and global conversations, through writing, debate, and creative work.
Catalyst supports student-led projects, discussions, and publications that carry youth voices across the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Its stated values are integrity, inclusivity, and intellectual independence.
Project Amanat Negara (PAN) is UKEC’s flagship intellectual conference convening leaders and students to debate national socio-political issues, featuring historical retrospectives and forward-looking policy discourse.

Its work for 2026/2027 covers UKEC's digital presence, a redeveloped website, a quarterly publication, and several platforms built to give Malaysian societies and students visibility.
A biweekly slot for content from Malaysian societies across the UK and Ireland, so societies stay visible between their own posting cycles. Reposts go out every other Sunday throughout the tenure.

The SNS Office ensures UKEC operates cohesively, efficiently, and with clear direction by coordinating responsibilities, managing administration and organisational records, and establishing consistent governance frameworks. Through Standard Operating Procedures, project oversight, the Community Impact Assessment, and Sunset Mechanism, we ensure that UKEC’s initiatives remain accountable, purposeful, and aligned with the needs of the Malaysian community across the UK and Ireland.

With 13 elected Regional Chairpersons (RCs) and 1 Regional Operations Officer for Ireland, this office ensures effective communication, governance, and collaboration between UKEC and its 79 MSocs.
Regional Chairpersons must host at least one regional event per tenure across welfare, discourse, finance, governance, and career pillars to support student development and institutional networking.
