A virtual preparation series ahead of The Malaysian Career Fair, grouping employers into themed sessions by industry so students get a full view of a sector in one sitting.
The Career Compass Masterclass Series is a virtual webinar series designed to equip Malaysian students in the UK and Ireland with essential career readiness skills ahead of the Malaysian Career Fair 2026. This initiative, spearheaded by the UKEC Careers Office, aims to collaborate with existing partners, sponsors, and the UKEC network to deliver industry insights and guidance. Held throughout March 2026, the webinars will run for two hours each session, providing invaluable support to students navigating the transition from university to employment.
Objectives
Build momentum leading up to the Malaysian Career Fair 2026, increasing engagement and participation.
Enhance the quality of the talent pool by equipping students with practical knowledge and skills required by employers.
Democratise access to career-related resources, ensuring all Malaysian students have equal opportunities to prepare for their professional journeys.
Provide a platform for UKEC Sponsors to promote internship and graduate programmes, reinforcing UKEC’s role as a bridge between students and employers.
Target Audience
Open to all Malaysian students in the UK and Ireland, regardless of their field of study or year of study. The sessions are particularly beneficial for those actively seeking internships, graduate roles, or career guidance before returning to Malaysia.
Content Structure
