Sunway

Sunway Group, founded in 1974, is one of Southeast Asia's leading conglomerates and works on an integrated build-own-operate model: it develops a township, then owns and runs much of what stands in it. Thirteen business divisions cover property development and investment, construction, healthcare, education, retail, hospitality and leisure, quarrying and building materials, and trading and manufacturing.

Its four listed entities — Sunway Berhad, Sunway Construction Group, Sunway REIT and Sunway Healthcare Holdings — carry a combined market capitalisation of more than RM76 billion, and the group employs around 20,000 people across Malaysia, Singapore, China, India, Australia, Indonesia and the United Kingdom. Its education division includes Sunway University and Sunway College, which run transfer and twinning routes to universities in the UK and elsewhere.
