Khazanah Nasional Berhad

Khazanah Nasional Berhad is Malaysia's sovereign wealth fund, established in 1993 and entrusted with growing the nation's long-term wealth. Its Advancing Malaysia strategy splits the portfolio in two: a commercial mandate managed for sustainable risk-adjusted returns, and Dana Impak, a RM6 billion commitment over five years invested across six themes — digital society and technology, quality health and education for all, decent work and social mobility, food and energy security, building climate resilience, and competing in global markets.

Recent Dana Impak work includes the Future Malaysia Programme for the local start-up ecosystem and Jelawang Capital, Malaysia's national fund-of-funds. Khazanah is also one of the largest sponsors of Malaysians studying abroad: Yayasan Khazanah runs the Khazanah Global Scholarship at A-Level, undergraduate and postgraduate level, and co-funds the Chevening-Khazanah Scholarship with the UK government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for a one-year taught master's at a British university.
