ICAEW

ICAEW — the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales — is a professional membership body for chartered accountants, with a global community of around 200,000 members and students. Its ACA qualification pairs a series of exams with at least three years of practical work experience, and is recognised in practice, industry, commerce and the public sector worldwide.

ICAEW's South East Asia regional office is based in Kuala Lumpur, supporting members and students across the region and working with employers, universities and regulators to put the profession's views on accountancy and business issues. Malaysians commonly start with the ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) before completing the ACA, and members of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants can join through the ACA study route or the Pathways to Membership route.
