GAMUDA

Gold

Gamuda Berhad, founded in 1976 and headquartered in Petaling Jaya, is one of Malaysia's largest engineering, construction and property groups. It works across three core businesses — engineering and construction, property development, and infrastructure concessions — and is best known at home for large-scale rail and water infrastructure, including tunnelling on the Klang Valley MRT and, currently, Penang's LRT Mutiara Line and the Sungai Rasau water supply scheme.

Overseas, Gamuda builds transport infrastructure in Australia and Taiwan and develops property in Vietnam, Singapore and the United Kingdom, where it has worked since 2019 on commercial, residential and purpose-built student accommodation schemes, including the £1.2 billion 75 London Wall redevelopment. Through its foundation, Yayasan Gamuda, it runs the Gamuda Scholarship, which has funded Malaysians studying at home and abroad since 1996 — RM31 million pledged to 183 students in 2025, with scholars heading to universities including Imperial College London.
